Grand Canyon

It's the Grand Canyon. What else is left to say? Look at the pictures!

Don't jump, little buddie!

I must say, I thought this was the best part of the trip so far!! Well worth a trip if this was my only destination.

Sedona

It rained from Flagstaff to Sedona!

The local flora.

The red rock around Sedona.

This is the only picture I have of Sedona proper. It doesn't do it justice and it's much bigger. I was dissapointed because it seemed like a smaller, less crowded version of Gatlinburg.

Northern Arizona

You drive along the flat desert and all of a sudden there is an outcrop of rocks.

We found E.T. landing in a field. :-)

Rock walls.

Cool double image.

Petrified wood.

Weather coming!

I have plenty of video, but this is my ONLY shot of Flagstaff. Dang! This is the most adorable town I've seen since I left upstate New York. There is something in the way a town holds itself together when it gets tons of snow.

Amarillo (and on the way)

Energy windmills in Oklahoma. Way to go, Oklahoma!

This is the only armadillo I've seen up close. The rest were dead along the roadside.

Bruce - my roadside attraction.
This is where we ate...home of the 72 oz steak dinner. If you can eat it in one hour (along with the sides and a roll and three shrimp), it's free!
Cooking area and stage.
He took the challenge!Update: He won with 1 minute and 32 seconds left!!!

Our hotel which is part of the restaurant.

Little Rock

If Bruce hadn't booked the room in downtown Little Rock, we would have missed out on seeing the River Market District. It's about four blocks of great shops and restaurants on the river. We ate dinner at the Flying Fish. Great seafood.

Dye Day

Peggy - the hostess.

Cynthia was a great help.

Catherine helped set up.

The non dyers...this time.

It's a pot luck so this is what we do best...eat!
