Flag Day in Scagway, Alaska

Scagway has a population of around 800. During the gold rush, there were around 30,000!

Cool cars!
How cool to have your car match your house!

This one is for Peggy's husband...the mason.

The wicker house. Click on the picture to make it bigger. The facade of this house is most unusual.
The Red Onion Saloon was a brothel.

A Flag Day parade of locals.

If you were going to cross into Canada to hit it rich, you had the bring with you 2,000 pounds of supplies to last you one year.
Too bad when the people reached the gold fields, all the stakes were taken. Good lesson in not going off half cocked.
I'm not too sure what this is...but it was well done!
